Imagine that a group of people want to buy a property together. Instead of allocating each of them a specific plot, the seller cuts the certificate of ownership into equal pieces and distributes them to the group in proportion to the money they invested.
Members of the group can buy and sell their stakes by transferring these pieces of paper to each other. They can even divide the paper further, or sell their pieces to others outside of the group, allowing to acquire more stakes or dispose of them conveniently.
Every square foot of land has the same value, and because the size of each piece of paper reflects the area of the land it represents, it can trade at whatever price is offered on the open market, with the opportunities it implies.
A blockchain asset works in a similar way. A piece of digital ‘property’ is divided into a number of tokens, which are distributed to a series of owners. These can be held securely, bought or sold, and everything takes place online. Fast, comfortable and secure.
Easy and Intuitive
